This is an excellent opportunity for a Level-1 IT Support Specialist or End-User Computing Support Specialist willing to take the next step in his/her career and join our awesome TIP Canada Mississauga Team undergoing an exciting multi-year, multi-phased digital transformation strategy with major upgrades to our Technical environment.

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing first level technical assistance to employees across Canada by diagnosing and resolving technical issues as well as providing in–house application support to all users.

YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Administer user accounts and access levels across all IT infrastructure and Applications components.
  • Provide assistance to staff relating to desktop application usage.
  • Set up and administer domain, email and phone system accounts.
  • Troubleshoot and proactively resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Co-ordinate IT services with TIP Global and external service providers.
  • Manage consumables for all technical equipment such as printers, fax and copier.
  • Log all support interactions and ensure timely response and follow up.
  • Provide status updates as needed.
  • Follow TIP standard support procedures
     

YOU NEED TO HAVE:

  • 2 or more years’ experience in an IT Support role.
  • Post-Secondary education in IT Infrastructure.
  • Experienced in Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Android, MS Office and Citrix desktop environment.
  • Experienced working with iOS and Android mobile devices.
  • Customer focused experience with demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to anticipate workflow, prioritize and follow through on tasks to completion.
  • Ability to flexibly work in shifts between Business hours 6AM to 11 PM.
  • Ability to provide some after-hours or weekend support as required.
  • Self-starter with strong documentation skills.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
